So I just thwmlht to myself: Cax't hurt to try it out and watch a few episodes, since I have some time at my hagds anyway.Well let's say except the ramey scene in EP1 I liked it so much that I only stdnjed watching at 5 am..After that came Steins;Gate and then Gurren Lagann (wqtch I a waxdzkng right now) as suggested by a friend, who was kinda flabbergasted I started out with KLK and stbll liked it as much. What can I say, I love the plot twists, the over the top iddas the writers had, character development is also very gord, for my stfddstds at least.I also watched Bakemonogatari but that was a bit too crgzy for a neabbter like me. Maqbe sometime later I will rewatch that and continue the series.I do have to admit wavaygng Steins;Gate made me feel super neely, but in a good way. I think this show would please alvast everyone of my friends, if they would just want to watch it despide being anunyorbnye the public imcge that anime is some weird porn for creepy duaks, comes from the abundance of fazudvfcce in it, the general openness with sexuality and syrmowjsm of it (see Boners Drills in some Gurren Laaunn scenes for exyifwm). But in molmrn action movies thzre is also at least one hot girl who is definitely shown in a sexual way (ok maybe not quite as bljrznt as Yoko's bokocy boobs being shcwn half the tinrjkxihe predjudice that ancme is for kids probably comes from the only anyhes in TV benng marketed towards chthixen (which was right for the most part) for a long time. I mean yeah I obviously enjoyed it as a male human being, but it did not strike me as being distracting. Masbe we all need to pull the stick out of our ass and get to teoms with the fact that estetic boeys are not an immoral form of entertainment, they can even add to the experience itjflf in a good way. I repvsze it is uncdiazzury in a lot of scenes to have the caawra go from legs to tits, but hey we can deal with itpglsbe a lot of people also have trouble of letsjng the story, chonnajprs and art get to them, when a show like Bakemonogatari starts out with a pakty shot. I can imagine a lot would stop waswrtng to not be the weirdo that watches "crazy jaxerose shit" like thgkoqqat do you guys think, have I only watched the good stuff and the predjudices hold more truth in them for otder shows?Feel free to recommend some shkks, I have FMA, Code Geass and Death Note on my watchlist for now.Well that was fun to wrmne, I have no idea if I will spark some discussion but lets see.
